Festive Green Smokey Eyes!!!

Hiee friends,

Hope you all are in the best of spirits and are doing great at your end.

I recently did a green smoky eye look, for a friends get together, and it turned out, a real glam!!! I paired it with soft nude lips, so that the depth of the eyes remains the main focus!! I love pairing deep brown eye with green eye shadows as they enhance the richness of the brown, but had never tried the same on me!! I wore a green Continue reading

Faces MagnetEyes Kajal

Since a long long time, I have been a die heart kajal person!!! It seems there can be no day in my life when I am not kohl eyed!! I was and I still am a long time, loyal fan of lakme eyeconic kajal, but it has been quite a time since I was using it, so I thought why not to give others a chance. And so finally landed again on the “No Paraben” tag of The Faces Magnet Eyes Kajal.

Product Claims:

1. Long time wear, fade proof and smudge proof kajal.

2. Dual application, kajal and liner both.

3. No parabens.

4.Loaded with antioxidants and minerals to benefit eyes.

Price: Bought it from Nykaa.com, on the listed price,175 INR.

Faces magneteyes kajal comes in a beautiful red colored pencil with a sturdy and travel friendly packaging. I find the base contrast of the white and black chevron pattern against the red pencil quite striking.

The kajal is indeed soft and smooth going. It is quite deep, dark black. I believe since it has this buttery smoothness to it, it can be used to create a perfect smoky eye. The kajal is quite soft, and gives me a feeling that I may not rupture the entire tip upon it as a liner.Applying the kajal on the water line is convenient enough as it did not require multiple strokes, just one fine go through was sufficient enough to give the results. The application as a liner was also smooth enough, owing to the dark deep black color. I required two fine strokes to get it as a fine line over my lids.

Swatched!!

The kajal stays well over 5-6 hours for me, it indeed smudge proof ( though most of the kajals don’t smudge easily for me) and also fade proof!!!

The Good:

1.Affordable price tag.

2.Twist up pencil.

3.Smudge proof and fade proof.

4.Vitamin E enriched.

5.Free of parabens

6. Travel friendly packaging.

The Bad:

1.Pencil tip is super smooth, so need to be handled gently.

Final Verdict:

I find it a good purchase, value for money. Since it’s very very black, you don’t need too many swipes over the water line.It is indeed a one stroke performer!!
